7 Magical Life Lessons by Bob Marley

Bob Marley

Who is in love with Reggae Music? Do you like listening to Bob Marley on those Sunday noons? I love it!! We love Bob not only for his incredible music but also his writings about life, love, freedom, equality and peace!! Today, we will talk about 7 Magical life lessons we can learn from our beloved Bob Marley’s words.

“Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.”

Perhaps, Bob is trying to say is that no matter what comes your way, you can make the most out of it, and be part of this magical experience called life, rather than just let things happen to you and think nothing of it.

“One love, one heart. Let’s get together and feel all right.”

Perhaps Bob is trying to remind us that all beings are connected in this universe. One love, one heart refers to that feeling of love we all feel. Love is a universal feeling that we all relate to, no matter where we are in the world, rich or poor, or what religion we belong to. When we come together in a spirit of unity, peace, and love, it does feel all right, and it feels great.

Bob Marley

“Overcome the devils with a thing called love.”

Oh dear, Bob, you got me on this one!! Love is a beautiful phenomenon and only long live the universal truth. Love is an energy that can conquer anything, and the devils he’s referring to can take the form of whatever is giving you trouble in this life. Love does not have to be only romantic; it could be a pure feeling of compassion you feel for your dreams and people you value the most. Keep your focus on love; love motivates us, love inspires us and trust me love can help us conquer any devil.

“Don’t worry about a thing; every little thing is gonna be alright.”

My favorite quote!!! Every time I hear it, it makes me believe that indeed everything is going to be alright. It is a positive reminder –  stop stressing about things and over thinking. Marley sums up a great way to think about worry, stress, and anxiety. We get stuck in the vicious circle of worries and stress which soaks up so much of our energy and leave us even more disappointed with life. In down times, let go of your worries, think positive, use of the power of belief and pull yourself together. Trust me; Everything is going to be alright.

Bob Marley

“Love the life you live. Live the life you love.”

Let me break it down to you in two simple ways, first is – go after creating the life that you love, do something so that you can end your day with a big smile on your face. Follow your dreams and convert your passion into the reality. If you feel that you really are not where you would like to be, again love is the answer. Love the Life You Live. Do not feel that you are stuck somewhere; there always is a solution. Life is the most precious gift, value it.

“None but Ourselves Can Free Our Mind”

Most of the obstacles we face in our lives are mental. We have a tendency to over -think before making decisions; stopping the flow of energy and then regretting it later. Bob Marley here is inspiring us to overcome those mental barriers and free our mind so that energy and creativity can flow like a river. No one else can help you; they can inspire you, but in the end, you will have to get up and break those mind shackles yourself.

“Man is a universe within himself.”

Let me sum up with a beautiful quote from Bob, we all have a universe within us, how beautiful, Isn’t it? All of us are full of infinite energy just like the universe is full of infinite energy. Just like Universe, each of us has countless dimensions to explore, many mysteries to find out. We all are special, each one of us is born with its own universe within. All of us are unique in our own way.

Thank you so much, Bob Marley, may your soul rests in peace. We will always treasure the life lessons you have told us and we will always love you and your music!
